One of the most important factors in landing big fish is also the most overlooked. A big fish on the run can break a line with many times it's body weight in tensile strength if the impact is not absorbed. Most spearfishing bungees tension the line for storage but do little to absorb the impact of a fish on the run or thrashing resulting in snapped lines and tear outs. The Spearit Kevlar Line Rig is handmade with advanced Kevlar fiber braid for strength and durability. The end loop is eye spliced and crimped with no knots to weaken the line. The integrated shockcord / bungee is made with heavy duty 1/2 od x 1/4 id latex tubing, over twice the rubber used in most stock bungees and an impact absorbing 10 inches of stretch to prevent tearouts and bring a charging monster to a softer stop.
